Acupuncture Awareness Week: 27th February to 4th March 2012
The first ever Acupuncture Awareness Week in the UK, supported by the British Acupuncture Council, aims to dispel myths surrounding acupuncture, highlight what conditions it can help and give members of the public all the information they need about treatment and what to expect.
The British Acupuncture Council have developed a microsite http://www.introducingacupuncture.co.uk/ which aims to explain in simple language what acupuncture is, how it works and who it can help.
During Acupuncture Awareness Week there will be articles and information in the press and GMTV's weather girl, Clare Nasir will be talking about her experience of acupuncture for fertility.
Additionally, BBC Radio WM's Joanne Malin will be talking about her experience of acupuncture on her 12 noon to 2pm show on Tuesday 28th February so tune in locally to 95.6FM
For a free 20 minute consultation or just a chat over the phone please get in touch or ask me a question through my website: Acupuncture in Solihull, I look forward to hearing from you.

Hopi Ear Candling
Increasingly popular, this relaxing and therapeutic treatment can help with many ear, nose, throat and sinus conditions and is now available with Maddy.
There is evidence of ear candling as an ancient practise by people of the Siberian prairies, Asia and Indians of North and South America.
The Hopi Indians (meaning "peaceful ones") of Northwest Arizona are the oldest of the Pueblo people and had a great medical knowledge combined with a high degree of spirituality. It is this knowledge that we are now sharing to enable people of our time to enjoy this ancient treatment.

Zita West Affiliated Acupuncture in Solihull
Welcome to my new blog. I'm excited to begin bringing you updates from Acupuncture in Solihull on a regular basis.
If you've taken a look around my website, you'll know that I'm a Zita West Affiliated Fertility Acupuncturist. So, for my first post, I'd like to tell everyone a little bit more about the acupuncture services I can provide for reproductive health.
Acupuncture has been used in many Eastern cultures for countless centuries and is a long established component, in particular, in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), where it is used as a primary source of preventative medicine and treatment to support male and female reproductive health generally.
Personally recommended by Zita West,
the acupuncture protocols I incorporate have a Five Element approach
which means I'm able to create each treatment individually for my
patient's specific needs and then integrate this with Traditional
Chinese Medicine.
So, what are the benefits of choosing a member of Zita's acupuncturist network? Here's an excerpt taken from their website that goes into more detail - click here to visit the page in full:
If you're looking for further information about natural or IVF fertility acupuncture in the Solihull area, please contact me to discuss, in confidence, how acupuncture may be able to help you.
